The word talisman derives from the Arabic tilsam and the Greek telesma — an object believed to carry protective power, worn close to the body, kept through years and decades. The idea that a piece of jewelry could carry meaning beyond its material value is as old as jewelry itself.

The Talisman band renders the triangular arrowhead motif in continuous relief — each triangle meticulously rendered in 14K gold against oxidized sterling silver, creating the characteristic depth and contrast of the M. M. Rogers Studio aesthetic.
