The Story Behind the Design

Where the air is thin
and the silence is absolute.

The Alpine Panorama began, as all the best things do, with a feeling — the particular quality of light and stillness you find only at high altitude, where the treeline gives way to open sky and the world below seems to belong to someone else entirely.

Rendering that landscape in miniature — the jagged ridgeline, the stands of pine, the moon rising over the peaks — required extraordinary precision and skill, one careful passage at a time. The result is a ring that rewards close inspection and announces itself quietly from across a room.

The Alpine Panorama has been a cornerstone of the studio since the beginning. Customers who bought it in 1990 still wear it. Some have come back for a second one. That, more than anything, is the measure of a piece worth making.

The Alpine Panorama ring is offered in two widths in sterling silver with 14K gold, made to order in full and half sizes 5 through 14. Also available in solid 14K yellow and white gold — and with a diamond, quoted individually. Engraving available on all versions.

The Alpine Panorama cuff bracelet wraps the full mountain panorama around the wrist in an open cuff form — the same meticulous work as the rings, scaled to a bolder canvas.
